May 17, 2009 Elder Silvann G. Broussard was commissioned into the office of Senior Pastor to continue to serve the Church of Philadelphia birth by her late husband of 27 years, Felix C. Broussard, Jr., in 1999. She supported her beloved husband in his God-given vision and call as Senior Pastor, serving the ministry and the people administratively and as the director of R.E.F.U.G.E. Outreach Ministries, which caters to ex-offenders and their families. This outreach ministry was birthed out of Silvann’s and her late husband of 10 years plus prison ministry, ministering in Mark Stiles, Leblanc, Gist State Jail and The Plane State Jail for women in Dayton, TX.


Pastor Silvann holds a Bachelor of Science in Theology and is a Board Certified Therapon Christian Counselor.  August 31, 2008 she was commissioned into the office of Prophet, she ministers in the gift of Exhortation and is an intercessor of intercessors. She has been host to a weekly (Wednesdays) and monthly (3rd Saturdays) City intercession, in which intercessors from the Golden Triangle and many denominations attended, she has led several prayer walks over the city of Beaumont and loves street ministry. Pastor Silvann has a burden for lost souls and to see people set free from the bondages of Satan, inherited curses, life circumstances, broken hearts and sin. She ministers in many women conferences and is a spiritual mother and mentor to many.  Mission has always been in her heart and in 1996, God miraculously opened the door for Pastor Silvann, along with a team of Christian women, to minister in Mexico for a full week in several churches and in the streets and again in July 2010 a mission trip to Nigeria, Africa for two weeks. Pastor Silvann continues to equip the body of Christ for the work of ministry and ministers to the body of Christ as God leads and opens doors.


The passion of Pastor Silvann's heart is to advance the Kingdom of God, and be steadfastly engaged in reaping the end-time harvest.  Her pursuit is to be a Kingdom Ambassador making a difference and impacting her sphere of influence for the Kingdom of God.


Pastor Broussard is the mother of one daughter, two sons, and one granddaughter.
